On Thursday December 14th, we held the Newmarket BID’s 2nd Annual Fundraiser with a goal of raising $100,000 to support the BID and other local nonprofit organizations. With the help of dedicated and invested partners, generous and eager attendees, and the many businesses who donated in-kind services or silent auction items – we not only met our goal, but surpassed it! It is thanks to everyone who came out, supported, or contributed to the event that made this great success possible.

At the event, we had the opportunity to recognize and hear from several community leaders who have made a commitment to the mission of the BID to improve the quality of life for all who live, work, and visit the area.

We had the great honor to award Boston City Councilor Frank Baker with our Lifetime Public Service Award. An outstanding community leader, Frank was instrumental in advocating for the creation of the Newmarket BID.

We celebrated our partnership with the City of Boston and gave a huge shout-out to Mayor Michelle Wu and her team for the tremendous effort that the City, working together with its private sector partners, have put forth to improve the quality of life for ALL in the Newmarket area and the entire City.

And, as our esteemed guest and keynote speaker, it was a joy to listen to Josh Kraft, President of the New England Patriots Foundation. He made it clear how much heart is put into the businesses in the Newmarket Area. The BID is proud to have such outstanding advocates and we can’t wait to see what 2024 brings to the business, residents, and visitors of Newmarket.
